Tacoma’s South End Neighborhood Council (SENCo) voted to recommend Suzanne in the race for Pierce County Council District 5. The following is a message from the Chair of SENCo, Earl Brydson:
“I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Suzanne Skaar. She’s been a part of our council only for a few months [October 2017], but what an amazing impression she has made with her peers and the public.I actually met her about a year ago during a presentation she made before joining SENCo.
She is an intellect, a true believer of the truth, in other words, she does her homework before engaging in important topics. She speaks with passion about her beliefs and she stands ready to hold her ground. In May 2018, Suzanne volunteered to attend a national conference in Alabama called neighborhood USA or NUSA. Filled with excitement and new ideas, Suzanne presented an informative and thorough briefing for the council, the public, and city management.
In addition, she chairs our Social Outreach Committee, which highlights her knowledge and extensive volunteer background in communication and media. She is a trustworthy individual ready to take on more responsibility as Pierce County’s next brightest council member. I am confident she will work hard to become the best of the best.
Chair – South End Neighborhood Council”
On behalf of Suzanne, we’d like to thank the members of the South End Neighborhood Council for their continued hard work to make our community more equitable, and for their support in this important race. Share this message with friends and make sure to vote Suzanne Skaar for Pierce County Council District 5!
The following is a message from friend and supporter, Philip Bradford:
“Suzanne has impressed me for years with her tenacious advocacy for the south and east end of the Tacoma Metro area. Her credentials are superior: Suzanne has headed international non-profit efforts, assisted injured workers to reenter our competitive job market and made it clear our growing economy will be accompanied by environmental responsibility. Her education, ability to think as big as our expanding county and capacity to diplomatically and professionally stand up to cynical attempts to set us back make her the natural choice. It’s her time.”
Philip Bradford, Work Opportunities and Health Care Advocate
Suzanne has worked hard for this community and will continue to do so in the role of the District 5 Pierce County Council Member. Please make a donation today and tell your friends why you support Suzanne Skaar.
